George Webber with a friend
George Webber is the creator of the Sonoma Walking Tour and a guide as well. George made tourism his second career after a circuitous route through the wine industry, Pacific Stock Exchange and the stage. He's been giving Historic Re-Enactment tours of the Sonoma Plaza for 5 years: performing as General Vallejo and Mark Twain. He started the Sonoma Walking Tour in the spring of 2008 so his friends can have some fun too! Info on George Webber can be found at www.georgewebber.com

After college he was assigned to a remote area of Transylvania where he learned Romanian and Hungarian and returned with a beautiful bride. He now teaches at St. Francis Solano School in Sonoma; his subjects are Spanish, Math, Debate, Dance and American Sign Language.
